Maternity Photos!!

We had the incredibly talented Amy Aiello from Amy Aiello Photography come to our home Monday to take our Maternity Photos -- and of course they turned out fabulously! One of Chicago's finest, Amy came to our home and shot both outdoor photos and nursery photos at my request. She really captured our excitement about our new arrival. Enjoy!

These tiny shoes say "Sleeping Beauty" on them. My mother gifted them to us at our baby shower. She purchased them 10 years ago, long before I ever even met my husband, in hopes that some day we'd have a little girl. Sleeping Beauty is my favorite Disney movie. I'd say she hit a home run with this little gift.


The blanket is a new gift from our cousins in Texas and the icon was originally my great-grandmother's.


The nursery was Kate Spade-inspired. My friend Allison created the gold dot decals for us to place on this wall of the nursery.

The newest Chicago Blackhawks fan needed a little shoutout. This jersey was a Christmas gift to Sam as the way I told him we were expecting.

Raise your hand if you LOVE washing dishes? Yes? Then this recipe isn't for you. Because dinner is done in one pot. Set it and forget it while you change into something more comfortable after a long day. Instant Pot Chicken Marsala

Day two with my Crock-Pot Express (CPE), aka Instant Pot. Tonight, we are making Chicken Marsala, one of The Captain's favorites. Since I'm preparing to get back into the 21 Day Fix starting on January 15 (with the new 80 Day Obsession plan!), I'm going to enjoy the chicken and green beans only, while the rest of the family will have egg noodles with their chicken. I found a simple enough recipe on Pinterest that I'm going to adapt to work for our family's tastes a little bit better. To a Married Couple Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hampton A married couple with the same last name should be traditionally listed as Mr. and Mrs. followed by the male's first and last name.
